3 Things About This Week
1. Your voice matters this week.
This is one of the strongest weeks we’ve had in a while for communication, expression, and amplification. Writing, speaking, art, conversations, revelations, insight — all of it feels heightened. There’s a strong emphasis on using your voice in ways that are rooted in care: care for yourself, care for your body, care for each other, care for this planet.
2. Your body is speaking loudly.
The Moon touring through Aries and conjoining Neptune, Saturn, Mars, and Chiron is deeply somatic. Emotions may not stay “in your head” this week — they may show up in the body as tension, inflammation, urgency, irritation, exhaustion, frustration, or restlessness. Listen closely to what your body is trying to communicate.
3. This is a week about planting seeds while tending wounds.
The Taurus New Moon wants sustainability, nourishment, abundance, and growth that lasts. But alongside it is Mars conjunct Chiron in Aries — the archetype of the wounded warrior. This week asks: what are you trying to build while also learning how to co-exist with your own pain, tenderness, and battle scars?

Tuesday, May 12th
Mercury sextile Jupiter
It is the best day of the week!
This is such a brilliant day to amplify your voice. It’s one where communication in all its forms — writing, speaking, art, conversation — are being pushed to the forefront and centered around care for each other. Care for our bodies. Care for this planet.
If there’s something you’ve been wanting to say or express, this day is a 5-star day for it.
There’s expansiveness here. Openness. Momentum. Ideas travel further under Mercury sextile Jupiter. Conversations may feel inspiring, validating, illuminating, or hopeful. You may finally find the right language for something you’ve been trying to articulate for a while now.
This is incredible energy for:
- Writing
- Publishing
- Sharing your work
- Recording content
- Important conversations
- Teaching and learning
- Creative expression
- Advocacy and speaking up
Say the thing.
Tuesday, May 12th through Thursday, May 14th
Moon touring through Aries conjunct Neptune, Saturn, Mars, and Chiron
Over the next 3 days or so, listen to your body and your emotions.
Pay attention to the ways in which you interact with yourself and others. You may feel some inflammation that’s bursting to get out and may have a hard time doing so — it’s like the tension a balloon has when something is trying to get out. The knot that is hard to undo on the balloon.
Think about this as:
the spaces and places in the world and in my body/mind where I want to escape and dream and create (Neptune) interacting with the tension of wanting to move forward but being held back simultaneously.
How does this feel in my body?
How does it show up in my life?
What wounds want to be tended to that relate to all of it?
Where is my need and desire for independence affected by this wounding?
What will it take for me to navigate this or heal it in some way or live with it in a way where I can love and co-exist with it?
This energy feels emotionally raw, physically aware, and deeply reflective. The body may become the messenger this week. Notice where irritation, exhaustion, pressure, or emotional reactivity are trying to show you something deeper underneath the surface.

Mercury cazimi — Mercury conjunct the Sun in Taurus
Another beautiful day this week that will kind of bring forth what Tuesday offered.
How has that amplification brought forth something or ended up shining a light on something you needed to hear, or read, or communicate?
Mercury cazimi moments can feel clarifying — like the center of something suddenly becoming visible. There may be a conversation, message, realization, or insight that lands very directly.
Because this is happening in Taurus, there’s also something grounding about it. Practical. Embodied. Rooted in values and sustainability.
What are you realizing is actually worth your time, energy, attention, and devotion?
What deserves to be nurtured long-term?
Friday, May 15th
Venus sextile Mars
Another magical day!
Great date day actually if you’re partnered, dating, or want to have some fun with friends (or your cat/s)!
There’s harmony between desire and action under this transit. It’s easier to connect, flirt, collaborate, and move toward what feels good.
This is also a harmonious day for taking action with the support of others.
Is there something you need to do or achieve with the support of another person? Someone cheering you on? Someone helping carry the weight?
There’s warmth in this transit. Creativity. Playfulness. Chemistry. Mutuality.
Enjoy it.

New Moon in Taurus
Chiron conjunct Mars in Aries
Mercury at the final degree of Taurus
This New Moon is offering us seed planting.
It’s fertile, it’s abundant, the Moon actually thrives in Taurus. So this New Moon in particular is one that is about setting intentions for something that you plan to grow and sustain and be abundantly generous with.
With so much newness sparking this year, with all the planets moving signs, we’ve already been experiencing so much newness and shifting and unexpected twists and turns in our lives.
Now that we kind of know — and kind of have a sense of what the shifts are and what we’re working with — set the stage for seeds you’ve already planted that you want to grow into something lush.
With Mercury sitting close to this New Moon at the anoretic degree, they offer supportive communication, a way to structure and plan out some of the details necessary to push these seeds through and ensure they get nurtured in the best way.
There’s something important about speaking the vision aloud. Naming it. Giving shape to it. Organizing it in a tangible way.
At the same time, Chiron and Mars conjoining is going to very much touch on our pain points. It’s going to irritate our wounds.
The Moon may have stirred this up already a bit so you’re aware, and Mars is here to take swift action on what’s already been layered with some soothing balm.
How can you invite in the warrior energy into your wounds?
How can you be a warrior for yourself and co-exist with some pain or hurt that perpetually challenges you — well, perhaps not always, that’s a lot — but comes up here and there?
In fact, this is the archetype of the wounded warrior. The one who saves and carries the weight of battle scars.
How does this show up for you and how can you invite someone into the experience?
You don’t have to bear this alone.
And on Sunday, the energy is great for opening up and finding that connection with someone.
Sunday, May 17th
Venus sextiles Mars again — but with Chiron in the mix
Mercury enters Gemini
Mercury conjunct Uranus
Today is a rather interesting day as the energy is potent for connection around your warrior wounds.
This is an extension of what started on Friday with Venus sextile Mars and yesterday with Mars and Chiron conjunct.
It’s a great way to top off what’s come up and how to smooth it over in connection with another.
There’s potential here for conversations that feel vulnerable but healing. Honest but connective. Supportive in ways that remind you that you do not have to carry everything alone.
Mercury also enters Gemini, a place where it’s extremely happy — it’s home here — except Uranus is in the mix and it’s the first time they’re meeting.
Mercury is the ruler of this Uranus transit through Gemini, so this is a rather important time to pay attention to what’s happening in your Gemini house.
It’s setting the tone for what this transit will be like.
This is mentally electric energy:
- Sudden insights
- Unexpected conversations
- Revelations
- Nervous system activation
- Innovative ideas
- Restlessness
- Excitement
- Rapid changes in perspective
It’s also a great day to be planting and seeding intentions around what this Uranus transit will offer you throughout the next 7 years.
What liberation and freedom needs to take place in this area of your life?
What needs to change?
What wants to awaken?
What version of yourself is asking to be freed?
